Olancho Aid is a donor & volunteer driven organization. Please consider volunteering your time with them! It was a great group of people to work with, and I would gladly come down again to help.

We had to stop in LAX because we ran out of fuel, but we made it!
Good trip everybody!

From Izzy & Modesto: We are in SAL terminal, our flight was delayed, but it appears we should be coming home soon. Taca Flight 528 - http://flightaware.com/live/flight/TAI528
From Collin:
James,
Wanted to let everyone know that I made it safe and sound to Antigua and met up with my friends. I don´t have the team email on my Gmail, so if you could send this out to everyone that would be awesome.
Everyone,
I just got into Antigua and met up with my friends. I wanted to let you know that I am safe. I also had to leave quickly yesterday in order to almost get riped off by the bus driver over getting my bag off the roof and just barely make my flight with a mad sprint to the gate; because of this, I wanted to tell everyone what a pleasure it was to work with all of you. I was overwhelmed with the quality of individuals and the dedication everyone had to their projects. I also wanted to give a special thanks to the team leads. James, Israel, Patricia and Modesto. You did an outstanding job for organizing everyone and making sure all the tasks were completed. It was truly a pleasure to work with everyone and I look forward to work with everyone as we continue our projects in Olancho. Thanks for everything.

We should be providing more information in the coming days. For now please avail yourself to our mailing lists on http://lists.ewb-oc.org !

These 2 files show how we are changing the Olancho Aid network. Basically we are reducing a point of failure by sending all the wireless signals to Nazareth instead of going through a unreliable relay next to the AM tower. To do this, we have installed a 100m tower at Nazareth and have erected 20-30m towers at Santa Clara and Cardenal. Erecting these towers required proper grounding and guy wire supports. The local staff of Olancho Aid and a local contractor was able to aid us with this installation. We are using Ubiquit Radios for our entire network: Bullet 2s at Nazareth, Cardenal, and Santa Clara; NanoStations at all the other locations. Depending on the sitance and the amount of clerance we have, our radios are getting about 60-70dbm with a 3-8MB download rate. Most of this equipment was donate by Ubiquiti themselves, so thank you Ubiquiti, thank you!

For all those following along, Thank You! I had some requests to give people a bigger picture of what we are actually doing, so this link goes to the report we sent to EWB-USA. Its very detailed and it talks about all the equipment and towers we are making over here.
