These 2 files show how we are changing the Olancho Aid network. Basically we are reducing a point of failure by sending all the wireless signals to Nazareth instead of going through a unreliable relay next to the AM tower. To do this, we have installed a 100m tower at Nazareth and have erected 20-30m towers at Santa Clara and Cardenal. Erecting these towers required proper grounding and guy wire supports. The local staff of Olancho Aid and a local contractor was able to aid us with this installation. We are using Ubiquit Radios for our entire network: Bullet 2s at Nazareth, Cardenal, and Santa Clara; NanoStations at all the other locations. Depending on the sitance and the amount of clerance we have, our radios are getting about 60-70dbm with a 3-8MB download rate. Most of this equipment was donate by Ubiquiti themselves, so thank you Ubiquiti, thank you!
